(这个议题已激起很多人的兴趣。)  among (prep.) 是「在…之中」。第二句话里的 “the best that is in a man”,其中 “that is in a man” 为关系代名词子句,修饰先行词 “the best”。appreciation (n.) 是「欣赏,感谢」;appreciate 则是动词,如:We really appreciate what you have done for us. (我们非常感谢你所为我们做的事。)
